The Azadi Tower, also known as the Freedom Tower, is located in the center of Tehran, Iran. It was built in 1971 in honor of the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire and it is an important symbol of Iranian culture and history.
The architect of the Tower, Hossein Alayas, created it in a unique architectural style that combines traditional and modern elements. The height of the tower is about 45 meters, and it is made of white marble, which makes it noticeable from the background of the rest of the city.
The Azadi Tower serves not only as a monument, but also as a cultural center. Inside there are exhibition halls where events and exhibitions dedicated to Iranian culture and history are held.
At the top of the tower, there is an observation deck that offers impressive views of Tehran and the surrounding mountains. The tower becomes especially beautiful in the evening, when it is illuminated with a variety of colors.
